Near the Villa are, the clothing optional nudist twin beaches of Los Patos with their gay beach area, as well as Puerto De La Cruz with its gay scene, gay bars, disco and saunas. The Villa is also only 20 minutes from La Laguna with its young university gay scene and less than 30 minutes to Santa Cruz with two more gay beaches to choose from. Guests have found plenty to occupy their time during their holidays and have found Tenerife with its real local gay scene to be a very welcome change from the gay life of Gran Caneria.

Tenerife is much more than the tourist resorts of the south. It is an Island of great contrasts, stunning scenery and beautiful towns. Orotava, La laguna and Santa Cruz are all worth a visit. There are smart shopping centres with designer clothes and shoes at great prices. And there are a great number of superb restaurants to choose from. Within ten minutes walk of the Villa are at least five great places to eat including one of the best tapas restaurants on the Island.

Amongst the places to visit are The National Park which surrounds Mount Teide is an extraordinarily beautiful place with its amazing views and landscape. The pyramids at Guimar and the museum in Santa Cruz give an insight into Tenerife's colourful past. There is Loro Parque with its zoo and Abaco the most amazing cocktail bar come museum you will ever see. And then of course the beaches. Tenerife has everything from golden to black sand and rocks. Villa Maspalmeras is ten minutes by car into the hills behind Puerto De La Cruz between La Oratava and Santa Ursula. Just off highway TF5 at Salida 31.
